February & March

The goals in February and March were to catch up and visit with the current orphanages that our humanitarian aide, "Suteikime Vilti" "We offer hope" foundation had in my previous term. Making sure that we have a future to continue growing these relationships.

I visited 4 orphanages at the end of Febuary and beginning of March and 2 preventative care crises centers. In the meantime I'm working on makeing sure our KidsQuest project gets to print ontime for our Kick off which is in October in Panevezys. All of the visits have been positve and the Kidsquest is comig along. Pray that we get the final copy here soon so that this print can be complete.

Upon Arrival

My dear friends my first month back in Lithuania was full of many meetings. Meetings for Kidsquest Printing, Children's Journal, Future Projects, and preparing for meetings that are coming up soon. A few hours, a few days a week have been devoted to learning new words and listening to Lithuanian. My heart is to improve in language. I have traveled to Pabrade to meet with friends and Svenconys to meet with Pastor Anatoli with hopes to partner with the work that they have there. It is still bitter cold with dreary days. Did I ever mention that I was born in Florida? I love these people, their culture and their land. Praying that wonderful things are to come soon.

Going with Power Tools!

Right now I'm looking forward to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I've been outwest since July 2008 and will begin my trip home to Ohio November 14, 2008. The West has been very good to me--but it will be great to put my feet on buckeye soil--I kind of miss home!

My hope is to be released to return by the end of November 2008 and I know while I'm here stateside many are working hard so that we can continue to move forward with "Reach the Nation 09". Our first evangelistic event s scheduled March 2009. Kids Quest Interntional, Steve & Mindy will be joining us to train our national leadership team to hit the cities, villages, towns and schools with the Gospel of Jesus. This will be the first time in history for the entire evangelical church to have such a dynamic and powerful tools in their own lanugage to reach the children.

4 Wheelin & Dealin

Well who can pass up going 4 wheel driving while you are sitting at the base of the southern mountains in Utah. I'm still traveling and sharing in several churches driving from one city to the next and one day last week I took a break from raising the funds for ministry and tried to put on an adventurers hat. Boy, it was an adventure! One that I will never forget and would love to repeat. Sitting out on a mountain top when a thunderstorm breaks out even adds more adventure--I wish I could have taken more photos of the storm but I didn't want to ruin my camera and I needed to book it out of lightening range. My personal tour guide had some problems of her own. Her family dogs decided they wanted to go on tour with us too and then got tired on the way up so.....Bonnie had to turn her 4 wheel machine into a pup-mobile. We had a blast and I honestly enjoyed being so close to Gods' creation.

Eyes View

Traveling throughout the West I have been overwhelmed with driving from the Rockies thru the Panhandle of Nebraska up thru the Blackhills capturing not only God's nature and creation but much, much more. I have been captivated by our nations portraits which were designed by our creator--the views have ushered in a fresh sense of worship. The view has been magnificant. The people I have met have been truly uplifting and kind; my spirit has been lifted. In all of this I long to be back in Lithuania. Please pray for this nation! The souls, the lives and my dear friends who sit at the western gate of Russia. Pray for deliverance from their oppression, for their beauty to shine and for cofidence in God.

The Pony Express

I'm one week into my Wild Wild West tour, last friday I left Waren, Ohio and so far I have traveled over 3406 miles and visiting 7 Pastors serving the corn husker state of Nebraska. Little did I know how HOT it gets here; and how much corn these folks grow. Sunday services went well and I am hoping for a good report and a new partnership. The folks in Kimball definetly have some of the best cooks for an afternoon potluck; I was privlege to stay in their newly renovated ministry house. During the afternoon, I spent some time with their CE Director working thru some of fresh ideas for their chidren's ministry. Then it was back towards the east for several meet & greets along highway 80. Wednesday evening, I was back in central Nebraska and honestly found the folks very warm and open.
